The beach of Misano is also known as the beach of the motorbikes since the city hosts the "Misano World Circuit", an outstanding circuit realized in 1927 where every year international car and motorcycle races take place : since September 2007 it has hosted the Motorcycling World Championship, the great event involving Valentino Rossi and Co. The lovers of go-karts won’t miss the opportunity to visit the "Riviera Verde Misano", famous since it was the circuit where Valentino Rossi used to train.

Thanks to the Marina of Portoverde, Misano stands out as an important nautical centre: a tower-shaped building dominates the tourist harbour which can host up to 350 boats and is among the best-equipped in the Adriatic Sea. Many motor ships sail from there, giving visitors the opportunity to make interesting excursions and discover both the open sea and the charming coastline.
